Abbey Museum of Art and Archeology

Lost in the middle of nowhere in the Sunshine Coast, not far from Caboolture, there is there the Abbey Museum of Art and Archaeology, which  displays the history of civilisation from prehistoric man to the modern age. 

What surprised me it was the manuscripts collection!!!

These manuscripts, together with the paintings they have in the collection, but unfortunately not on display at the current stage, are some of the most valuable pieces of art to preserve.

...and there is more....

Next to the Museum there is even the St. Michael's  Church, which contains stained glass. This collection features windows from medieval through to Edwardian times and charts over a 1,000 years of European stained glass production. 

This is the outside...unfortunately I did not have the opportunity to take pictures inside!!

This place is really worth a visit!

Ovid is perfectly right, when we talk about shapes and transformations of one of the most beautiful fountains of Rome there are no doubts!!!

Just look and admire!!!

Mi rendo che i rapporti virtuali sono davvero strani e spesso mi viene anche da pensare che in fondo, sarà per via delle foto che mostro con i miei quadri, sarà per il sito che normalmente aggiorno, ma molti/molte di Voi conoscono il mio viso e non l'ho mai nascosto...ed allora spesso mi ritrovo a pensare che sono svantaggiata rispetto a molti di Voi.

Devo semplicemente immaginare attraverso il modo di scrivere, il modo di approcciarsi oppure leggendo il breve profilo che spesso si trova nel blog il Vostro volto, il Vostro sorriso, il Vostro sguardo.

Ho notato che come avatar, tra l'altro, non tutti usano la propria immagine e questo non aiuta certamente la conoscenza e quindi la mia immaginazione viaggia...galoppa.

Tutto questo per dire, che attraverso un invio di foto, ora conosco il volto di ..

che è stata la fortunata 100esima mia lettrice

Mi ha mandato questa foto con la Sua immagine e con l'acquarello che le ho spedito e che Lei molto carinamente lo ha incorniciato come si deve e  mi ha autorizzata a pubblicare la foto. (la sua prima foto ìin rete..così scrive)
